Nano Banana is a web-based AI image generator and editor that creates images from text descriptions and edits existing images using artificial intelligence. It is powered by Google Gemini 3 models and hosted on Vercel.

How it works

Enter a text prompt describing the image you want. Optionally upload reference images. Select your preferred aspect ratio and generation model (Nano Banana 2, Pro, or Classic). Configure thinking level and resolution for Nano Banana 2. Click Run to generate. Download, copy, or continue editing the result.

Technology

Nano Banana uses Google Gemini 3 image generation models accessed through Vercel AI Gateway. Nano Banana 2 uses Gemini 3.1 Flash Image Preview with configurable thinking and resolution up to 4K. Pro uses Gemini 3 Pro Image for best quality. Classic uses Gemini 2.5 Flash Image for speed.
